Section I: Who The Fuck Are You?
What is your primary timezone, age, primary language, and approximately how many hours a week do you play EVE?
US TZ (EST), 24, English, 10-11 hours a week (looking to increase that)
Do you approve of scamming people? Ever done so? Do you honor ransoms?
I acknowledge that it is part of the game, but it is not for me. There is plenty of money to be made in EVE, no need to squeeze ISK out of others.
Do you approve of spying, meta gaming, etc.? Ever had this done to you or done so yourself? Do you have any useful spy alts? If so PM the information regarding them to Krebs von-Runge.
Counter-intelligence and covert operations is what originally made me fall in love with EVE. Bomber fleets expanded my horizons as far as what can be done with proper coordination. Since then, I've trained all of my characters for Covert Ops, and the logical transition was to wormholes. I've always enjoyed scouting to generate PvP content as much as, and sometimes more than, the fight itself.
I have never opened my private WH corp to people I don't know, so I have not had it done to me personally. All of my losses have nobody to blame but myself
List all of your characters, amount of SP they have, and what specializations they have, obviously characters meant for the purposes above can be withheld for obvious reasons as long as they are discussed with directorship.

Do you have any FC experience? Do you have any special skills or knowledge you'd like to share with us?
I have run PvE WH expeditions, and have experience scouting for PvP operations. While one of my characters was with TEST a long time back, I did act as a backup FC and guided a fleet of newbros back home after our FC was podded. I also was a sub-FC for a bombing run during my stint in TEST, and commanded a secondary wing of bombers.
How long have you been playing EVE? Tell us about your history in the game! Go ahead and make a novel of this.
On a college friend's recommendation, I started playing EVE about 6 years ago under the name Starletta Lorenzo (all my characters are female). He was in PL, and so he wanted me to get into null sec. He saw Dreddit as a great opportunity to do this. I joined, and like many others, had absolutely no idea what was going on. My friend really held my hand through the majority of the early stages, and taught me a lot about how to figure things out for myself. I started off flying a vigil in any fleet that was available. I learned about optimals, and got to see how fleet fights played out. Then I started running a rifter in fleets. This had a much steeper learning curve because I was right up on the enemy, and I was (and still a little bit am) a more reserved and passive EVE player.
My friend that I mentioned was a triage carrier pilot for PL, and all it took me was watching him in one fight to be sold on Logi. He set me up with a skill plan and a PLEX, and I was on my way. It took forever of dicking around in frigates and destroyers to finally sit in my first scimitar (I think I was so impatient that I tried to make a BS scythe fit at one point). I started learning exponentially more about PvP as I flew out on more fleets as a logi pilot. I learned about positioning, targeting, alpha fleets, fleet compositions, ship strengths/weaknesses. It was really when I learned the most about PvP basics.
Shortly after I started ratting in a crappy fit Drake out in null sec. At this time, I realized the potential of starting a new character. So I made JuuWauhnuh and parked her in Jita and started training for a bomber on suggestions from my corp and friend. I quickly sat in my first Manticore, and as soon as I joined a bombing run, I was in love. Just seeing the precision, and coordination between us and the main fleet was truly inspiring. It was also at this time that I started staging in Goonswarm territory, and started learning about properly gathering intelligence.
I decided to start rounding out my Gunnery and support skills on Starletta while I continued running Logi when I could. She became my Domi pilot for null sec ratting as she ramped up to T2 sentry drones. At this time I started paying for both of my accounts and earning some profits. So I started Space McLongTits (great name right?). I wanted her to be a capital pilot, but I wasn't patient enough to wait for the training. So my friend suggested that I train her for Jump Freighters because it would force me to round out the supporting Navigation skills that are boring, but necessary, for capital ships. It was at this time that I began transitioning into WH life.
As I mentioned earlier, I transitioned into WH life right as I was starting to really feel comfortable in EVE. I started off with JuuWauhnuh in a small corp offshoot of TEST alliance that moved into wormholes, then had a brief stint with one other person who did a lot of wolfpack roams. I really liked flying with him, because he taught me that you can't have fear in PvP. He would lose deadspace fit proteus every day in the hunt for the elusive "good fight." I hadn't even dreamed of a deadspace fit ship, nonetheless losing it, so it opened my eyes to the elite level of PvP in wormholes.
It was basically solo life other than that though. I anchored my own POS, and had to learn everything on my own. I learned about siggy and rolling holes with an Orca, battleships, and HICs. I learned about static connections, roaming connections, and the true value of WH living. Once I had learned the ropes, I brought Starletta in to try and earn ISK with my ratting Domi.
When I saw how much fun living in a WH was, I decided it was time to commit to it with my skill plans. I trained for a Tengu on JuuWauhnuh, and an Orca on Space McLongTits. I started using my private corp with some friends to move into some wormholes on my own. I was basically the driving force behind moving everyone into WHs, so not only did I have to teach them a lot about the mechanics, but I was also responsible for logistics and infrastructure management. We lived in a C2, and a few C3s during this time. Each time we were evicted, I was able to identify what we did wrong. These excursions taught me a lot about navigating WHs and the responsibility involved in living there.
I found incursions as a reliable source of income, and I parked Starletta in a scimitar for that. Eventually I bought her a Nightmare and Vindicator as well, but I mainly kept her in that area so that I can PLEX myself on demand. She stayed there throughout my WH adventures, which is why her T3 and other WH support skills aren't fantastic.
My most recent stint was a C4 with a C3 and C5 static. I moved in with three friends, and we came in expecting to leave the C5 closed so we could roll the C3 and rat in T3s. The C3s were manageable PvE and had even more comparable PvP content. Our defense scheme revolved around an alpha fleet setup with a sabre to bubble the logistics. The POS was a Minmatar Tower with faction artillery and tackle. We trained up all associated characters to be able to man every available gun so that we could efficiently alpha anything short of a carrier. I was a fanatic about keeping our wormhole as closed off as possible.
As C3s were highly popular back then, and being before the changes to WHs (this was about two years ago), we found that the C3 static wasn't as reliable as we anticipated. Myself being the leader, I tried to squeeze out as much ISK as possible. I negotiated a 0% tax on the POCOs and started setting up infrastructure for mineral and gas processing. It was around this time that my Orca pilot (Space McLongTits) was able to run mining links. I started running mining operations in our C4 and learned a lot about tricks to making sure they were successful. We produced much of our own ammunition, and also produced a large percentage of our fuel for a good while.
Then, I started playing with a Vargur fit that could run C4 sites. I threw about 2 bil (including the Crystal implants) into a fantastically versatile Vargur fit after some tinkering for the first few weeks. Both of these combined brought us out pretty far ahead of our initial investment. I can reasonably say that we did our homework, and set ourselves up right. Everything was running smoothly.
As I alluded to before, this was all for naught. While we were home from college (and I was on vacation) for Christmas, our POS ran out of fuel and was popped (killmail). It was devastating. At first, I was trying to convince my friends to try again, but I didn't quite have the drive to make it happen. My friend (from the beginning) and I briefly ran a few gang roams with the ISK we made through low sec and null sec in Hurricane Fleet Issues. This was great experience with known space gang PvP. I was able to identify the similarities and differences with K-Space and WH PvP. Using local to your advantage and gate guns taught me a lot about K-Space roams. I particularly enjoyed finding our fights with my 6 link, cloaky, nulli Tengu.
We stopped playing a few months later until one of my other friends from the C4 joined a corp of very inexperienced FW pilots that was interested in moving into a WH. I joined them for a few months and helped them get on their feet, but working a full time job made it difficult to find time. I also knew that eventually they would migrate back to FW, so I left the game again.
I still work full time, and have a particularly demanding job. But if I find the right group of people, I can see myself playing EVE a lot.
Why did you want to join us? Where did you hear about us? Who refereed you to us, any vouches from members you know?
I just started back up when Alpha accounts were introduced. Quickly moved myself back into a wormhole (C3 with null sec static) and am just looking for something with some more structure. I've identified that I learned the most in EVE while I had the backbone of a corp behind me. I know that I have much more to learn in PvP, and even more to learn elsewhere. So I'm applying to a few corps to see if anyone would be interested in a semi-skilled theorist and planner such as myself.
I heard about you guys on Reddit.com/r/evejobs
I have no referrals.
Are you a Fuckwit? Shit Starter? Got any Tears or Salt to share with us?
I try to keep my head down and do my best. My corp background is in TEST so I learned quickly to respond quickly, and do as your told (even though most of the noobies in that corp never learned how to do that). I've also led communities in a variety of other games, so I recognize and appreciate the necessity of having people represent you with dignity. The structure of a corp is only as good as the players that interpret it.
Section II: General Requirements.
10,000,000 SP
Our goal is to introduce people to the joys of wormhole life, train and teach. We expect you do your own research though and arm yourself with knowledge where you can.
Ability to probe scan well, with decent scan skills (Astrometrics IV + Supports).
Ability to listen and communicate effectively in English over Mumble and Discord using a functioning non-shit microphone.
Be active. We do not have an official kill board requirement. We do expect active contribution to the corp by PvP content generation or helping run our logistical backbone.
Ability to be a team player, and understand we are very communal. Willing to do your part for the greater corporation and your peers. We live by the ideals of Socialism and Distributism.
You must submit to full API checks. Full transparency. If applying on the forums you will still be subject to a short interview on discord as you would by contact or reference.
We require that you be self-sufficient in regards to ISK. The corp does not sponsor or run official PvE fleets as we are a primarily PvP corp. You are however encouraged to arrange PvE activities such as site running with other members. Also available are corp and private buybacks for Blueloot, Gas, Salvage, etc.
I accept and agree to these terms, have a working microphone, and can assure you that I will be able to generate my own content as well as anything else involved in WH life.
Section III: Ship Suggestions.
Entry Level: Stealth Bombers, Astero, Confessor, Deacon.
All of my pilots can fly at least one Covert Ops ship and scan.
Intermediate Level: Brutix Navy Issue, Harbinger Navy Issue, Stratios, Sacrilege.
Admiral Tomahawk can fly all of these, Starletta can also run most of these.
Advanced: Legion, Loki, Proteus, Guardian, Oneiros.
Admiral Tomahawk can fly all of these, Starletta can fly a Guardian, and JuuWauhnuh can fly a Tengu.
Bonus Points: Armor Capital Ships, Faction Battleships, Black Ops, Capital Industrial Ships, Freighters/Deep Space Transports/Blockade Runners.
Admiral Tomahawk can fly Dreads, he and Starletta can fly Faction Battleships, and Space McLongTits can fly an Orca, Freighter, perfect Noctis, and Minmatar Deep Space Transport/Blockade Runners.
Section IV: We Love Our Carebears!
To achieve our goals as a corp, fact is a strong industrial backbone is needed! Massive bonus points if you have skills, experience with, or the desire to perform:
Mining Operations in <0.5 space, Mining boosts, etc.
Manufacturing, especially T3 Production/Reactions, Capital Ship Construction, POS Management, etc.
Planetary Interaction
Hauling, Shipping, Logistics, especially doing so safely through dangerous space.
Blueprints, Invention, Reverse Engineering.
As I described above, I was very involved in all of this previously as I was in charge of WH life on the small scale that we had set up. I am particularly experienced in reactions, POS management, PI, and logistics from this list. I never got into mining much, but I understand some of the core components behind invention, RE, and manufacturing. This section interests me a lot, and may be perfect for my schedule. I would love to theorycraft some ideas for this stuff, and I DO love spreadsheets
Also, on another note, I am a web developer and database admin by trade IRL. While I was in college and learning EVE, I experimented with building a few web applications for the game. If I meet your expectations and am able to be active enough, I could work with you guys to create your own web apps. My senior year (when I was more into Incursions) I made a fleet waitlist app for iPhone and Android devices that featured push notifications. I also started (but never finished) a browser based app earlier on that helped EWAR fleets properly spread damps and ECM.
Thank you for your time, and consideration. Contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
