Section I: Who The Fuck Are You?
What is your primary timezone, age, primary language, and approximately how many hours a week do you play EVE?
Pacific Timezone, 25, English, 7-15 (depending on IRL factors)
Do you approve of scamming people? Ever done so? Do you honor ransoms?
Somewhat. New characters under 6 months should never be scammed, 6 months - 3 years, ehhh, 3+ years, sure. I did once, targeting really old characters, and I regretted it. It was over 5 years ago. Never again. I honor ransoms, otherwise, you'll never get anyone to play.
Do you approve of spying, meta gaming, etc.? Ever had this done to you or done so yourself? Do you have any useful spy alts? If so PM the information regarding them to Krebs von-Runge.
I approve of some types of spying. Spying just to AWOX newbies, or highsec players? Eeehhh. Null to null or WH to WH, or some combination? Sure! While in Horde, enemy spies in my fleets would mean that we got a lot more fights, since they were much more willing to form up and fight with us if they felt they had a spy advantage. I approve less of actively sabotaging fleets when you're a spy - that allows annoyed me when it happened in horde.
I did some spying once, 5+ years ago. Haven't done it since.
List all of your characters, amount of SP they have, and what specializations they have, obviously characters meant for the purposes above can be withheld for obvious reasons as long as they are discussed with directorship.
Krilos Nereth - 166m, almost pure combat - eveboard.com/pilot/Krilos_Nereth
Chell Sindarin - Industry + Trade (Capital Construction skills)
I might have a JF pilot floating around somewhere.
Do you have any FC experience? Do you have any special skills or knowledge you'd like to share with us?
I have a huge amount of FC experience, of all sizes. Right before goons decided I was a spy, I was, during a campaign, their most active FC. Generally with frigates - cruiser sized.
One of my favorite times FCing was I was leading a small ship roam to hunt ratters. We jumped in, shotgunned the system, and I caught a Myrmidon! Hurray! Announced it on comms, didn't call for the warpin incase anyone else got something.
Wait.
That's a big myrmidon.
OH SHIT ITS A THANATOS THAT NAMED ITSELF MYRMIDON. Everyone warp to Krilos, get points, etc.
30 minutes later hostiles arrived and bailed him out.
I also have experience importing/exporting goods to a market, and stocking a market well, at a reasonable price, with properly fitted doctrine ships. Favorite time I did that was after goons kicked me, ironically. My trader was still in YA0, and their shippers are fine importing from Jita alts. So I just kept shipping in stuff, marking it up, and making a killing, all while local chat was raging at me for doing so. Some people....
How long have you been playing EVE? Tell us about your history in the game! Go ahead and make a novel of this.
This is going to sound terrible, but I'm not sure when exactly I started playing Eve. It's been awhile - Around the start of college, so maybe 2009/2010 ballpark? Joined Goons, got my feet wet. Learned the game. Decided I wanted to try this whole "spying" thing. So I went to spy on Test. Finished that up, kept being a goon. Test was pretty mad about the whole spying thing, and a few people in particular kept harassing me in-game, on forums, outside of the game. CCP tried to help, not much success. So I eventually said screw it, got rid of all of my old characters, and purchased Krilos. I spent a bit of time with the goon wormhole project, some I got some idea of mechanics. Participated in various wars and campaigns, being somewhat AFK when there wasn't anything going on, and resubbing when there was action. One day DBRB woke up and decided I was a spy, so I ended up getting purged. Yay >_>. Given my dubious history (Which I had never worried about before, I was a goon), I wasn't able to really go anywhere except horde. Had a blast for quite some time with Horde, but I've gotten really bored of nullsec, and would like to try wormholes again.
Why did you want to join us? Where did you hear about us? Who refereed you to us, any vouches from members you know?
I posted on EveJobs about looking for a wormhole group, out of all of the replies, the one pointing me here was the one I liked the most. The ability to clearly articulate what was happening with taxes, the type of environment and culture, and the lack of "yeah, everything you do at home is for the corp's benefit" made me decide I wanted to investigate you guys more. Then the following discussion happened on Discord, and I was sold:

Same sense of humor? I'm sold.
Are you a Fuckwit? Shit Starter? Got any Tears or Salt to share with us?
I'm laid-back - live and let live. I've done bad things in eve, I can't complain when karma comes around and bites me in the ass.
I no longer have a paranoid streak. It's just gone. It's caused me to get bitten a few times, but overall I'm happier.
Section II: General Requirements.
10,000,000 SP
Yup.
Our goal is to introduce people to the joys of wormhole life, train and teach. We expect you do your own research though and arm yourself with knowledge where you can.
A little bit of prior experience helps. Haven't been in a hole and farming since they changed how loot works - I've been in a hole and pvping though.
Ability to probe scan well, with decent scan skills (Astrometrics IV + Supports).
Yup! The new interface is a godsend.
Ability to listen and communicate effectively in English over Mumble and Discord using a functioning non-shit microphone.
I have a blue snowball. I've been FCing a long time, and listening to FC's for even longer.
Be active. We do not have an official kill board requirement. We do expect active contribution to the corp by PvP content generation or helping run our logistical backbone.
Yup.
Ability to be a team player, and understand we are very communal. Willing to do your part for the greater corporation and your peers. We live by the ideals of Socialism and Distributism.
Sure!
You must submit to full API checks. Full transparency. If applying on the forums you will still be subject to a short interview on discord as you would by contact or reference.
Just tell me where you want them. Do you want old, dead accounts as well?
We require that you be self-sufficient in regards to ISK. The corp does not sponsor or run official PvE fleets as we are a primarily PvP corp. You are however encouraged to arrange PvE activities such as site running with other members. Also available are corp and private buybacks for Blueloot, Gas, Salvage, etc.
As well as sitting on a huge pile of cash, I do a good amount of trading.
Section III: Ship Suggestions.
Entry Level: Stealth Bombers, Astero, Confessor, Deacon.
(no deacon, gotta get logistics frigates)
Intermediate Level: Brutix Navy Issue, Harbinger Navy Issue, Stratios, Sacrilege.
Advanced: Legion, Loki, Proteus, Guardian, Oneiros.
Bonus Points: Armor Capital Ships, Faction Battleships, Black Ops, Capital Industrial Ships, Freighters/Deep Space Transports/Blockade Runners.
Section IV: We Love Our Carebears!
To achieve our goals as a corp, fact is a strong industrial backbone is needed! Massive bonus points if you have skills, experience with, or the desire to perform:
Mining Operations in <0.5 space, Mining boosts, etc.
I have no desire to mine. Ever.
Buying stuff other people have mined and moving it around? Yessss
Manufacturing, especially T3 Production/Reactions, Capital Ship Construction, POS Management, etc.
Capital manufacturing, yes**
** I no longer have the BPO's for it.
I've previously set up POS chains for various industry things, but it was awhile ago.
Planetary Interaction
Nope
Hauling, Shipping, Logistics, especially doing so safely through dangerous space.
Yes. Generally I'll either
1) Use a JF
2) use a covert ops (much worse with the arrival of all of the taxis)
3) use a T3
Blueprints, Invention, Reverse Engineering.
Had a high-sec BPO copying operation running at one point. Have done a bunch of research and T1 manufacturing. Could never be bothered to try T2 or T3 manufacturing. Same with drugs.
