Section I: Who The Fuck Are You?
What is your primary timezone, age, primary language, and approximately how many hours a week do you play EVE?
US Eastern TZ, I am 29 years of age, speak English, and play way to many hours of eve (but my wife is fine with it, so its okay)
Do you approve of scamming people? Ever done so? Do you honor ransoms?
I don't like scamming people, and don't like being scammed (have never actually been victim of a scam). Also have never been in a position where i would have to honor a ransom, not sure how that would work TBH.
Do you approve of spying, meta gaming, etc.? Ever had this done to you or done so yourself? Do you have any useful spy alts? If so PM the information regarding them to Krebs von-Runge.
My job IRL is basically a spy, but I haven't made my way in EVE spying, honestly wouldn't know where to start. As far as meta-gaming, I can tell you I have never done it, mostly cause I don't really know what it is. I have two accounts which I use regularly, so spying on anyone that requires an API is out of the question, if that is the spying you mean, if it means sitting in a system and watching people do things, both characters can do that...
List all of your characters, amount of SP they have, and what specializations they have, obviously characters meant for the purposes above can be withheld for obvious reasons as long as they are discussed with directorship.
I will list the Characters that I actually use for things other than Jita Alts:
Gregory John: 23,463,703 SP, good drone, shield and gunnery skills, with a smattering of other shit that I have been working towards
Rae Starr: 4,686,703, has been skilled into flying blockade runners, and is currently in training for JF's. Also is my main mining alt which can fly barges with T1 strip miners only, as I am not skilled for specializations yet.
Do you have any FC experience? Do you have any special skills or knowledge you'd like to share with us?
I have no FC experience outside of 2 person roams into FW space to kill people, I have alot to learn before I would be comfortable leading large groups of ISK through space to kill things...
How long have you been playing EVE? Tell us about your history in the game! Go ahead and make a novel of this.
I have been playing steady since August of this year, my primary account was made sometime int 2009 IIRC. Basically I was introduced to eve by a friend when I lived in the barracks out in Pearl Harbor, played a little bit, hit the learning cliff, and quit for a long while. I had always been into WOW, played that game for 10 years so didnt really have much time for eve. I moved to New England and now that I am on shore duty, I find myself with plenty of time again, and I decided to hang up the console and join the PC master race again. Since August I have been pretty active, for the first month i mostly tried to make my way in space by region trading and hauling from Dodixie to Jita and back again. I actually enjoyed hauling a lot, but kept getting killed by people and decided it was time to take my revenge on the galaxy, so I joined horde to learn the ropes. I have a ton of fun doing both PVP and PVE.
Why did you want to join us? Where did you hear about us? Who refereed you to us, any vouches from members you know?
Mostly I am looking for something new, I have a good IRL friend that doesn't play eve right now due to some pretty shit life circumstances, but he basically lived his entire eve life in wormholes and has assured me that WH life=best life, so I kinda want to give it a shot, Plus dank isk... I have heard about Hole riders here and there from multiple people in horde, but another new applicant to Hole riders was the one that convinced me to make the switch, mostly because he is the only one I have really personally played with outside of fleet activity.
Are you a Fuckwit? Shit Starter? Got any Tears or Salt to share with us?
I most certainly am not a Fuckwit, and I do the occasional trolling, but not really for the sole purpose of starting shit, mostly to be funny. I am not a fully operational salt mine, in fact, there is very little salt here to mine at all. Occasionally I get fed up with some of the elitist attitudes I come across in new eden, but i do my best to ignore that shit.
